How to size your PERSIT dress or skort
You need a soft tape and two minutes. The numbers below come from our size charts.
Measure your bust for the dress
The built-in bra is sized by the dress, so start there. A 36-inch bust sits in the medium range of 35.4 to 37.4 inches.
Measure your waist for the skort
The skort band is high and wide, with a drawcord inside for fine-tuning. Take the size your natural waist falls in, not the one you hope the cord will fix.
Check your hip if you run
You lunge wide on a stretch shot. If your hip sits at the top of a range, the next size up keeps the built-in shorts from pulling.
Know where the hem lands
The dress runs 30.9 inches long in XS and 34.6 inches in XXL. The taller you are, the higher on the thigh the same length lands.
Between two sizes
Take the larger one for the dress if you want room through the bust, and the smaller one for the skort if you like the band snug while you sprint.

One layer to pull on before you walk to the court
PERSIT has made women's sportswear since 2019. Our tennis dress answers a small, familiar problem: a dress, a sports bra and a pair of shorts are three things to find in a bag, and one of them is always missing.
So the dress carries its own bra and shorts, and the shorts carry the pockets. The skort does the same job for players who like a separate top.

Where can you buy PERSIT tennis dresses and skorts?
Every color on this site has a shopping button that opens that exact color at our retail partner, where you pick your size and check out. Payment, delivery and returns happen there, not on this site.
Does the PERSIT tennis dress have a bra built in, or do you wear your own?
It is built in, with adjustable straps that cross at the back. It is made to be worn on its own. If you want more hold for a long match, your own sports bra fits under it.
Can you take the shorts out of your PERSIT tennis dress?
No. The shorts are sewn in and do not come out. They have a 3-inch inseam in every size and a pocket for a phone or a ball.
What size PERSIT dress should you order?
Measure your bust first, then your hip. The size guide has both charts in inches, from XS to XXL. If you sit between two sizes, the larger one gives more room through the bra.
How many pockets does your PERSIT skort have?
Three: a small one inside the waistband for a key or a card, a ball pocket on the left leg and a phone pocket on the right.
Can you machine wash your PERSIT dress and skort?
Yes, both labels say machine wash. The fabric and care page explains what else the label is telling you about stretch fabric.
Can you wear a PERSIT dress or skort for golf or pickleball?
Yes. The pockets that hold a tennis ball take a pickleball or a few tees just as well. Golf clubs often write their own dress rules, so check yours for collars and hem length before a round.
